“To say that my pups and I enjoyed our 6-month stay is an understatement. This basement apartment is a renovated space and furnished with everything you need for an extended stay. Also, ideally located - next to Patterson Park, minutes from the dog park, and within walking distance from a variety of restaurants. There is also a rooftop patio for shared use. Parking was never an issue. The highlight of our stay was not location, parking, or amenities but the wonderful hospitality of the owners, J and H. They are warm and communicative but best of all, truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome to the neighborhood. Thank you for inviting a non-Baltimorean into your fold and making our stay an enjoyable one!”

“The apartment is beautifully furnished throughout, with everything you could need for an extended stay. J and H (the owners) are incredibly friendly and really make me feel at home, its nice to rent from people who genuinely care about their tenants and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay! The apartment is set it a great location (opposite the lovely Patterson Park) for getting outside in the fresh air and within easy reach of all sorts of events and activities throughout the year. Commuting from here was a breeze too, with easy access to I95 and the beltway to get further afield. There's also ad Airbnb in the same building which is great for having guests visit. It was a real pleasure to stay, and I hope to be back soon!”

When we first toured the apartment, we were glad to notice that it was up-kept and remodeled. “I had the pleasure of spending one year living in a property managed by Jimmy Edgerton, and it was an excellent experience. Jimmy was very responsive to maintenance concerns in the house, and was extremely reasonable regarding tenants' requests (e.g. providing funding for tenants to plant a garden/flowers in the front/back yards, etc). Part of my time spent living at the property was during the initial months of the COVID-19 pandemic, and Jimmy was extremely helpful in making modifications to procedures (e.g. monthly house cleanings) and with checking-in with tenants regarding any safety concerns (e.g. limiting contact with contractors). Throughout the year, I had several opportunities to speak with Jimmy, and all interactions were very positive and professional. During this time, all of my communication with Jimmy as property manager was punctual; he was responsive to all house concerns, returning any calls and emails within 24 hours. Maintenance was handled as promptly as it was communicated; on one occasion, the clothes dryer malfunctioned on a Friday afternoon, and Jimmy sent a contractor out that evening. A monthly cleaning service was included in rent, helping a great deal in keeping six adults living well together. “I rented the Patterson Park garden apartment while I was on assignment at Johns Hopkins and the apartment was perfect for what I needed. I loved being right across the street from the Patterson Park and spent a lot of time there with my dogs. I have two dogs and both had plenty of room in the apartment. With the park right across the street my pups always had plenty of green space to get their energy out. Patterson Park also has a dog park, which is just minutes away from the garden apartment and I went the multiple times a week with my pups. I made many friends at the dog park, as did my pups. I really enjoyed my daily walks around the park and always felt safe in the neighborhood. I am a night shift nurse so it was never unusual for me to take my dogs for a quick walk in the middle of the night, the street is very well lit and even at 2, 3, 4, o'clock in the morning I always felt safe walking my dogs up and down the block. Jimmy was always responsive if I needed anything.”
